Property Owners Association

1842 - during the Second Seminole Indian War, Aaron Jernigan settled onto the northwestern shore of a lake now known as Lake Holden. As the first property owner, he established a trading post and by 1850 a Post Office was established in the trading post. In 1857 the Post Office name was changed from Jernigan to Orlando and by 1875 the city was Incorporated.
    --The rest as we know,  'is History...'
2009 - Nestled just south of downtown Orlando, Lake Holden provides residents with an oasis of Lake front recreational and lifestyle amenities. Just minutes away from business and nightlife opportunities, this 'no-public access' lake offers the best of downtown proximity and lake front living.
